Engineer Saeed Ghumran Al Remeithi is the Group CEO of Emirates Steel Arkan, leading the Group’s development and strategic direction and strengthening its position as the UAE’s largest integrated steel and construction material company.

Al Remeithi has over 20 years of in-depth experience in the industrial sector, most of which acquired at Emirates Steel. Al Remeithi started his career as a project manager at the General Holding Corporation PJSC (SENAAT), after which he joined Emirates Steel where held several senior management positions, such as Senior Vice President of Operations, Vice President of Production, Assistant Vice President of Rolling Mill, Production Manager, and Acting CEO.

Al Remeithi has been ranked amongst the Top CEOs in the Middle East by the internationally acclaimed Forbes magazine. He was also appointed as Chairman of the Economic Committee of World Steel Association (worldsteel) from September 2018 to October 2021, becoming the first Arab official to hold this prestigious international position.
