Driven by the spirit of “The Year of Giving 2017” declared by the UAE’s President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and in collaboration with Authia, Emirates Steel, the only integrated steel plant in the UAE, owned by Senaat, has launched its 2017 CSR initiative “We Give You Smile” that is designed to help needy families in the UAE during the Holy month of Ramadan.
The campaign reflects the value of Giving which is cherished in the UAE society, and inherited by the UAE’s Founding Father Sheikh Zayed and through his legacy to make a difference in people’s lives and in society.
Moreover, Emirates Steel has engaged its staff to distribute packed boxes of essential Ramadan food items to families across the country, reflecting the spirit of unity and further enhancing the company’s relationship and interaction with the community and give back to those who are most in need which will contribute towards cementing the values of giving, solidarity and cooperation between the company’s staff and society.
By activating such CSR initiatives, Emirates Steel enhances cooperation between various sectors for the benefit of the public, and reflects the Holy month spirit to give to the less fortunate and improve their lives. The food packages contained basic food items used usually during the month of Ramadan and are enough to provide for a full month.
