In line with its strategy to create unique employment opportunities and support recruitment of UAE Nationals and provide them with first-hand experience in innovation management, Emirates Steel, the only integrated steel plant in the UAE, owned by Senaat, recently launched its “ERTEQA’A” initiative designed under the banner of Accelerated Young Leaders Program (AYLP) announced earlier in 2016.
ERTEQA’A is driven by Emirates Steel vision listing innovation as the key differentiator between market leaders and the rest of the competition focusing on its crucial importance to business success. The initiative aims at encouraging a mindset where young UAE National engineers are inspired to innovate and generate new ideas on technology optimization, business sustainability and continuous improvement.
Through the AYLP initiative Emirates Steel aims to plan the career progression of its in house talents in operations who have demonstrated the potential to take on leadership roles in the future. Young talented resources will be developing the required experience that will help them advance in their careers.
