Hamad Abdulla Mohamed AlShorafa Alhammadi has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Emsteel since his appointment in November 2021.

Al Hammadi has served as the Head of Energy, Utilities, and Industrials Verticals at Abu Dhabi Developmental Holding Company (ADQ) since 2019. In this role, Al Hammadi manages a portfolio with an asset base of over $70bn comprising of flagship companies including TAQA and Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC), and manages the ADQ Sovereign Investment Partnerships, including the development of the $20bn fund in Egypt.

Al Hammadi was previously at Mubadala Investment Company, the investment arm of the Abu Dhabi government, where he managed a $220 billion portfolio of more than 90 companies in 9 sectors including aerospace, technology, energy, renewables, healthcare, real estate, oil & gas, infrastructure, and industry.
