Eng. Jamal Al Dhaheri has been the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Emirates Steel Arkan since his appointment in November 2021

Al Dhaheri is the Chief Executive Officer of Silal Food & Technology since its inception in 2020 by Abu Dhabi Developmental Holding Company (ADQ). With more than 25 years of experience in key economic sectors, Al Dhaheri has helped lead Silal to fulfilling its strategic objectives to support the Abu Dhabi Government’s efforts in the agricultural sector by introducing best-in-class industry technology which has helped contribute to sustained sourcing and supply of food and nourishment to the UAE population.

Prior to joining Silal, Al Dhaheri held a wide range of roles in the areas of strategy, project management and business development. He has previously served as the CEO of the General Holding Corporation (SENAAT), Abu Dhabi Basic Industries Corporation (ADBIC), and Union Water and Electricity (UWEC).
Al Dhaheri also has past managerial positions at both Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Company (ADWEA) and Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC).
